Lisa Connelly
Director
With over 28 years of experience in early childhood education, Lisa brings a passion for nurturing young children in a safe, faith-filled environment.
Her Christ-centered approach fosters social, emotional, and spiritual development in every child.
Lisa believes in the power of strong parent partnerships to create the best outcomes for children. Her leadership reflects the values of love, integrity, and growth that define GentleSprouts Academy.
Education: Gilbert High School graduate
Family: Mother of 3, grandmother of 5

Lisa has been happily married for over 31 years. She is honored to guide children and their families through the early years with love, faith, and dedication.
Alexis Shumpert Perry
Assistant Director
Alexis Perry serves as the Assistant Director at GentleSprouts Academy.
A proud graduate of Airport High School, Alexis brings over 10 years of experience in the childcare field.
Her passion lies in nurturing children and helping them grow into kind, confident individuals. She finds great joy in sharing the stories of Jesus and celebrating each child’s developmental milestones. Alexis values building strong, positive relationships with both children and their families.
Outside the center, Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband and their Great Dane, Dodge. She is grateful to be part of a team that supports each child’s journey with love, faith, and purpose.
